WHICH INFORMATION IS COLLECTED?

We may collect and process any information which you volunteer to us in our website’s forms, such as when you sign up for email updates, episodes and product information.

(a) Categories of Personally Identifiable Information may include:

(i) General Contact – If you contact us with a question, we will collect your name and email address so that we can respond to your request.

(ii) Comments – If you submit a comment, we collect your name and email address. 

(iii) Applications To Be interviewed – You may submit a request to appear as a guest on the hiredtrainer.com podcast. As part of this application, we will ask you for information including, but not limited to, the following:

1. Your full name

2. Your location

2. Your email address

3. Your cell/mobile number

5. Your Skype ID

6. Your LinkedIn Profile

7. Your reason(s) for being a guest on the podcast

(iv) Audio and Video Content – If you are selected to appear as a guest on episode of the hiredtrainer podcast, we will ask you questions about yourself and your business and profession. This will be recorded and broadcasted as part of the episode. All episodes are available to the general public as will be any personal information you provide in the episode in question.

(v) Purchases – If you choose to purchase a product from us, we or our third-party payment processors will collect your payment information

(vi) Social Media – If you provide us with your social media details, we may retrieve publicly available information about you from social media. 

(vii) Competitions – If you provide us with information via entry in a contest, we will collect this information and may share this information with trusted third parties or announce or broadcast your name and location and business name as a contestant in or as a winner of the competition. 

(viii) Surveys – if you provide us with information via participation in a survey, we will collect this information and may use it for the purposes of contacting you directly.

2. WHICH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS COLLECTED?

(a) AUTOMATIC COLLECTION. Our servers automatically recognize the domain names and IP addresses assigned to individual computers on the Internet. When you use the Site, we may automatically record certain information from your device by using various types of technology, including cookies, “clear gifs” or “pixels.” This “automatically collected” information may include IP address or other device address or ID, web browser and/or device type, the web pages or sites visited just before or just after using the Site, geo-location data, length of time spent on the site and pages visited. 3. HOW DO WE USE AND SHARE YOUR INFORMATION?

(a) PERSONAL INFORMATION. We will not share information you submit to us as part of an inquiry with anyone but our vendors who might accidentally interact with the information. If you submit information as part of a request to appear as a guest on the podcast, the personal information which you have provided can be made available to the public as part of your podcast appearance.

(b) ANONYMOUS INFORMATION. We use anonymous information to analyse our traffic. In addition, we may use anonymous IP addresses to help diagnose technical issues with the site. Traffic and transaction information may also be shared with business partners and advertisers on an aggregate and anonymous basis. Your personal information will not be detailed in this aggregate data.

(c) COMMUNICATIONS. We may use your email address or other information to contact you for administrative purposes such as customer service, to address intellectual property infringement, right of privacy violations, defamation issues, updates on promotions and events, relating to products and services offered by us and by third parties we work with. 

(d) USE OF COOKIES. We use information obtained from cookies to analyse your use of the site and to make appropriate adjustments to our business strategies.

(e) DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION. We will reveal a user’s personal information without his/her prior permission only when we have reason to believe that the disclosure of this information is required to establish the identity of, to contact or to initiate legal proceedings against a person or persons who are suspected of infringing rights or property belonging to the Site or to others who could be harmed by the user’s activities or of persons who could (deliberately or otherwise) transgress upon these rights and property. 4. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

All processing of information is performed in accordance with privacy rights and regulations following the EU Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 October 1995 (the Directive), and the implementations of the Directive in local legislation. From May 25th, 2018, the Directive and local legislation based on the Directive will be replaced by the Regulations (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of Personal Data and on the free movement of such data, known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the processing of information will take place in accordance with the GDPR.

5. HOW DO WE SECURE YOUR INFORMATION?

The Site has reasonable security measures in place such as SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocols to prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information that we obtain from you, but we make no assurances about our ability to prevent any such loss, misuse, to you or to any third party arising out of any such loss, misuse, or alteration. If we suffer a data breach, we will provide notice pursuant to legal requirements. 

6. HOW DO WE LINK TO THIRD PARTIES?

The Site contains links to and interfaces with third party websites and online platforms. Please be aware that while visiting our site, you may choose to follow links to such third party websites and online platforms which are beyond our sphere of influence. The site is not responsible for the content or privacy policy of these other sites. These websites and online platforms have established their own privacy policies. You are encouraged to read the relevant privacy documents as we have no control over their provisions and these documents may deviate significantly from our own.

7. HOW LONG DO WE RETAIN AND WHEN DO WE DELETE YOUR INFORMATION?

We will not retain data longer than is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable laws or regulations. If you make a request to delete your information and that information is necessary for the products or services you have purchased, the request will be honoured only to the extent it is no longer necessary for any products services purchased from or through hiredtrainer or required for our legitimate business purposes or legal or contractual record keeping requirements.

8. WHERE IS MY DATA STORED?

The site adheres to the Directive of 1995 and the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) from May 25th, 2018. Consequently, the site processes all information exclusively on servers in secure hosting facilities provided by GoDaddy in the EU thus ensuring compliance with the Directive. All hosting is performed in accordance with the highest security regulations. All transfers of data internally in the EEA is done in accordance with this data processing agreement.
